About Eric Gulliver

Eric Gulliver is a documentary maker on staff at American Experience PBS. As a writer, producer, shooter, and editor, his work spans many storytelling forms.

Eric began his career at WGBH in the legendary OutPost facility where he was assistant editor on 99 episodes of FRONTLINE. He grew to Online Editor for PBS broadcasts handling all aspects of ingest, packaging and outputs. In 2016, he joined the staff at American Experience, PBS’s flagship history series. As part of their transformational digital team, he helped reshape their online footprint and focus the digital strategy; he created digital-first content in the form of short-form documentaries, interactives, and social video. Across PBS, Eric has helped numerous national productions reach new audiences with television broadcasts and streaming.

Eric has been working as a documentary editor since 2009. As an editor, Eric’s feature documentary work has premiered at major festivals worldwide including the New York Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival and Viennale.His expertise is in short form documentary, where he also lends his efforts as a facilitator and consultant in the Boston area.
